Accommodation for the ASFB 2024 Conference will available soon.
The Conference has secured a number of discounted rooms at the Quest Newcastle and Rydges Newcastle.
Accommodation is only available to be booked at the rates shown through the ASFB 2024 registration portal.
All rates are in Australian Dollars and inclusive of all taxes and charges.
Full pre-payment is required 35 days prior to check-in and bookings are non-refundable within 35 days of the conference commencing.

The 76m2 Two Bedroom Apartment option features a master bedroom with ensuite and LCD TV and a second bedroom that can be configured as a king-size bed or two single beds. The second bathroom contains a shower-over-bath and private laundry facilities. This is an excellent option for families and small groups wanting additional privacy.

The spacious 96m2, modern Three Bedroom Apartment is an excellent option for families and larger groups settling in for longer stays. The master bedroom includes an ensuite bathroom and the second bathroom contains a shower-over-bathtub and laundry facilities. Check-in times - Rooms are not guaranteed available until 3pm on the day of check-in, though can be made available earlier in the day at the discretion of the hotel. If you wish to ensure an early check-in, you should reserve the room for the previous night.
Changes - If you require additional room nights not already available, please contact the conference secretariat (Lianna-Danielle Rizk) for availability. Please note, you will be required to complete a credit card authority form upon enquiry. Changes to your booking should always be done through the conference secretariat, NOT the hotel itself.
Cancellations - Cancellation policies apply to each hotel and usually apply when cancellations are made within 35 days of arrival. Rooms cancelled within 35 days of the conference will generally be charged the full price of the total accommodation booked. Please contact the secretariat if you wish to cancel your stay and would like to know the cancellation policy.
Security deposit upon check in - A security deposit will be held to cover any miscellaneous charges.
Room availability - During the Registration process, an icon of an envelope indicates there is no availability for accommodation at that hotel for that date. Please email the Conference Secretariat if you have any queries regarding accommodation.
