Natasha Stacey
Natasha Stacey is a marine social scientist holding a PhD in Anthropology with 30 years of experience in research and development projects in the Asia-Pacific and North Australian region. She leads the Communities and Livelihoods Research Group in the Research Institute for the Environment and Livelihoods (RIEL) at CDU. Natasha’s main research interests include sustainable rural and Indigenous coastal livelihoods, local and Indigenous knowledges; community based marine and fisheries resource management, and participatory monitoring. Natasha is an associate editor of Maritime Studies Journal, and a member of the Protected Zone Joint Authority Torres Strait Scientific Advisory Committee and NT Crawford Fund Committee.
